Even e-commerce brings precious benefits to companies selling garments, large amounts of product returns are encountered especially in female consumers, due to the fact that waist, hip, inseam, outseam and other measurements are mismatching with the ordered product. Those product returns and after operation lead to hundreds of thousands of dollars cost and risk the benefits of e-commercing.
In order to minimize the negative results of this situation, it is an undeniable requirement that size (waist, hip, inseam, outseam and others) measurements have to be standardized and be identical for any individual product.

In this way, the same sized products even manufactured by different suppliers are going to be measured according to the standard criteria and will be categorized as the same.
